Here's the story of a man named Brady... Actually, its the story a man named Pat and why we started Crooked River Amateur Radio Club! 

After serving eight years as President of an Akron area Amateur Radio Club, I knew that there had to be more to Ham Radio then just BS and Politics. Being sick of the non-caring and backstabbing of other clubs,
I gathered my friends and people that had heard of what was happening and I decided to act. Ideas flowed, People talked, Managers worked, and the ideas came to fruition for a club that is destined to be one of the top clubs in Summit County Ohio.

Our concepts are simple, cater to the membership giving them fellowship, entertainment, education, presentations, and helping training new Hams and putting the fun back into Amateur Radio.

Secondly, Provide to our community, helping with public service events, providing emergency communications when needed and making sure the community knows "Ham Radio Is Here!" and lastly,keeping to the the "true morals and ideals" of Amateur Radio and making the majority of it FUN again! We intend to accomplish this and much more!
